Yet the non-functional line in the room keeps ringing, with ghostly voices offering help, as the intuitive nightmares of Gwen, his sister may be his salvation. A genuinely scary movie. In the battle between faith and wealth, it's a knockout win for greed in this director's wonderfully garish true story regarding the shamed religious broadcaster and her felon spouse. Garfield portrays the venal Jim, who declares initially, “God does not want us to be poor,”. He and Tammy Faye begin capitalizing on the people's Christian beliefs.
